How to Use the CSV Column Mapper Tool
🗺️ Open the CSV Column Mapper and follow along with this tutorial.
Open Tool →Steps
Step 1: Upload Your CSV
Click Upload CSV in the toolbar. The tool parses your file and lists all detected column headers.
Step 2: Review the Column List
The column list shows each header from your source file. Each row has a drag handle for reordering, a text field for renaming, and a checkbox for inclusion.
Step 3: Reorder Columns
Click and drag any column row by its handle to move it to a new position. The output will use the columns in the order shown in this list.
Step 4: Rename Headers
Click into any header name field and type the new name you want in the output. The source data is not affected — only the output header changes.
Step 5: Exclude Columns
Uncheck the checkbox next to any column you do not want in the output. Excluded columns are visually dimmed and will not appear in the exported file.
Step 6: Preview the Mapped Output
Click Preview to see the first rows of the mapped output. Confirm the column order, header names, and that excluded columns are absent.
Step 7: Export the Mapped CSV
Click Export Mapped CSV to download the remapped file. The output contains the selected columns in the order you set, with the header names you specified.
Privacy reminder: Your file never leaves your browser. All processing is local.
