OFX or QFX fileThe FinancialDataTools.com OFX Viewer is a free, browser-based tool for opening, inspecting, and exporting OFX bank and brokerage files. It runs entirely in your browser — no file is ever uploaded to any server.
OFX (Open Financial Exchange) is a data format used by banks and brokerages to deliver account statements and transaction histories. Files use an SGML or XML structure containing transaction records with amounts, dates, descriptions, and account metadata.
Browse all transactions in a spreadsheet-style grid. Sort any column ascending or descending. Filter rows by transaction type, date, amount, or description. Export data to CSV, JSON, TSV, or Excel (.xlsx).
All file processing happens inside your browser using JavaScript. No file content is transmitted to any server. Your financial data stays private on your device.
Click the Open button or drag and drop your OFX file onto the viewer. Your transactions appear immediately in the grid. Use the search box to find values. Click column headers to sort. Use the filter buttons for advanced filtering. Click Export to download in your preferred format.
View bank statement OFX downloads. Inspect brokerage account exports. Analyze transaction histories before importing to accounting software. Convert OFX data to CSV or Excel for reporting or reconciliation.
